To ensure clients can operate their services 24/7, we provide a number of capabilities, features and support services:
The site is located in a remote part of Western Australia within a secure compound, featuring perimeter fencing, extensive 24/7 CCTV monitoring, and electronic reporting. Security is further enhanced by on-site personnel.
All visitors, whether clients, contractors, suppliers, and VIP guests, are electronically recorded for posterity
Client equipment is housed within a secure, environmentally controlled facility designed to protect sensitive and expensive satellite services equipment.
Cyber security based on Australian Government accredited systems and networking equipment with on-going hardening and engineering reviews
The site is equipped with an extensive CCTV system allowing Capricorn Space to monitor the site remotely 24/7 while also providing clients with real-time visibility of their precious equipment.
A skilled and dedicated team of technicians is available to assist clients as and when required, 24/7
Our power is generated from renewable energy with back-up generators. It is then fed through two high-capacity Uninterruptible Power Supplies to ensure the cleanest power in all remote WA
Despite being 300 km from Perth, our site operates with high-speed totally diverse optical fiber connections providing clients with Gbps access to their end datapoint
Capricorn Space performs the radio spectrum licences application process on behalf of clients ensuring that vital licences are typically turned-around within 2 weeks
As the site is located in an Australian Government Earth Station Protection Zone, there is no terrestrial background electro-magnetic interference
Our sky is one of the clearest in the world making it ideal for next generation atmospherically sensitive frequency bands (Q/V, E, etc) as well as satellite laser and optical services
Capricorn Space has access to 35 hectares (86 acres) of land so plenty of room to expand. That’s over 65 US football fields
Capricorn Space performed all antenna civil works on-site such that the client’s antenna is ready to mount once it reaches site
Capricorn Space provides clients with Level 1 support to ensure their antenna installation is efficient and compliant with Australian safety standards
